Tan Thai

Owner and Trainer

About Me. At the age of 17, I embarked on my career in the United States Army, and for the past 16 years, I’ve been unwavering in my commitment to service. My journey has taken me through various roles—from combat engineer to engineer officer—and eventually, I transitioned to simulations operations. Along this path, I’ve witnessed a variety of preventable injuries, both in the military and civilian contexts. These incidents reinforced a crucial truth: knowledge can save lives.

The Turning Point. One day, life took an unexpected turn. My daughter suffered a seizure, and my wife found herself in a panic, unsure of how to respond. In that critical moment, I realized that knowledge of basic medical procedures could mean the difference between life and tragedy. It was then that I made a solemn vow: everyone must be equipped to be a first responder.

Becoming an instructor. Driven by this conviction, I transitioned into the role of an instructor. My mission: to empower fellow service members and civilians alike with life-saving skills.

Whether it’s administering CPR, handling traumatic injuries, or recognizing the signs of distress, I am committed to spreading awareness and practical knowledge.

Closing Thoughts. The memory of my daughter’s seizure fuels my passion daily. As I stand ready to impart crucial skills, I know that each person I train becomes a link in the chain of survival. Together, we can make a difference—one response at a time.
